For engineering & product mentors

The platform for mentoring engineers and product people

Technical mentoring is specific — a design review, a system to reason about, a promotion packet to defend. The value is in the artefact and the decision, and both need somewhere durable to live.

What breaks today

01

A level mismatch costs a whole session

A junior wanting interview practice and a staff engineer wanting an architecture sounding board arrive through the same booking link, and you find out on the call.

02

The best part of the session is unrecoverable

The reasoning you walked through on a shared screen was the entire point. An hour later it exists only as whatever the mentee managed to type.

03

Growth is asserted, not evidenced

“Ready for the next level” is a claim someone has to defend to a committee. Eighteen months of sessions produce no evidence they can hold up.

What Mentor10 does about it

Questions

Can I share code or documents in a session?

Yes — documents attach to the session record, so the artefact and the discussion about it stay together instead of ending up in a chat thread.

Are sessions recorded automatically?

No. Nothing is recorded without explicit, logged consent from every participant, and that consent is revocable — including after the session.
